Obama sets goal to double exports, add 2 million jobs in 5 years

U.S. President Barack Obama announced a "national export initiative" to double exports and create 2 million jobs during the next five years. He signed an executive order instructing the government to use "every available federal resource" to increase exports. "Ninety-five percent of the world's customers and the world's fastest-growing markets are outside our borders," Obama said. "We need to compete for those customers."
