AT&T adds 12 cities to LTE launch

Starting in April, AT&T will commence lighting up its 4G Long Term Evolution network in a dozen new cities across the Southern, Midwest and Northeastern U.S. Included in the rollout is an expansion of AT&T's New York network to include Staten Island. By the time the deployment is complete, AT&T will offer 4G access with download speeds exceeding 40 megabits per second in more than 40 markets.
