AAR: FRA data confirms railroads' commitment towards safety

Last year was the safest ever recorded in the railroad industry, according to records from the Federal Railroad Administration. "We are proud of the investments the rail industry has made to improve safety for employees, passengers and the public at large. Rail technology is constantly evolving, and we will continue to invest in new technologies, training and processes aimed at preventing incidents before they ever happen," said AAR President and CEO Edward Hamberger.
