HP says U.K. is investigating Autonomy

Hewlett-Packard says the U.K.'s Serious Fraud Office has opened an inquiry into allegations of accounting irregularities that HP raised in the wake of its $10 billion acquisition of Autonomy. The Justice Department began investigating Autonomy last year. Mike Lynch, the founder of Autonomy, said HP's allegations are untrue.
