The secrets to success in one N.C. school district

It wasn't just an investment in technology that helped a once-struggling school district in North Carolina rise to the top -- although its "21st Century Digital Conversion" was a major factor. Instead, Mooresville Superintendent Mark Edwards said success hinged on building a culture of success. Edwards shares with other districts 10 lessons, in which he recommends building a foundation, forming alliances, focusing on logistics, examining budget allocations and empowering and educating teachers, among other things.
