Report: History curriculum is lacking in England

A new report from Ofsted, England's education watchdog, has found history achievement is lacking and some are concerned that history could be further marginalised in favour of courses in maths and English. Schools in England allow students to abandon history courses after age 13. The report found that other European countries have a higher standard for history education.
