Arizona lawmakers want to restrict HOA jurisdiction

Arizona lawmakers are trying to keep HOA rules from governing public domain with several bills that would block HOAs from banning overnight street parking on streets that are public and city-controlled. The state House Judiciary Committee recently killed a bill by Sen. Nancy Barto that would have banned HOAs with fewer than 2,000 members from making any rules about the use of public roads.
