CFTC's Chilton takes aim at oil and gas price speculation

Bart Chilton, a member of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, has written to Sen. Bernard Sanders, I-Vt., that he is working on regulations to rein in "excessive speculative trading" in the oil and gasoline markets. Chilton's move was a response to a letter from dozens of lawmakers, scrutinizing the efforts of the CFTC to reduce gas prices.
