Digital drives growth at holding companies

The world's five largest agency holding companies outperformed the U.S. ad-spending market because of their direct involvement in digital media, per a Pivotal Research study. WPP, Omnicom, Publicis, Interpublic and Havas together gained 6.1% in U.S. ad revenue last year, about twice the rate of the market's ad spending.
