Drought hamstrings South American soybean output

A crippling drought in South America has led U.S. forecasters to lower global output expectations for soybeans. Brazil, the world's second-largest soybean producer, is expected to see a 5% year-over-year drop in production of the crop. The forecasts come from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's March Oil Crops Outlook report.
