Texas community residents want exotic-deer trapping outlawed

Ruby Ranch residents near Buda, Texas, are sparring over the right to trap exotic deer and antelope within the subdivision. One resident assembled an HOA oversight group to draft an amendment calling for a $1,500 fine for trapping exotic animals and for the creation of a wildlife committee. The amendment would need to be signed by more than 75% of lot owners before the restrictions could be legally changed.
