Experts bust 10 common misconceptions about HIT usability

Nancy Staggers of the University of Maryland's School of Nursing and Lorraine Chapman of Macadamian Technologies identified the 10 myths often tied to the usability of health IT systems during a presentation at HIMSS13 last week. These include the misconceptions that providers aren't comfortable with technology and that medical professionals want all their data on a single screen.
