Survey: Businesses see value in employee health clinics

A Mercer survey of 131 businesses with on-site medical clinics showed 82% said reducing productivity losses was the primary reason for offering the benefit, while 75% said it was controlling health costs. The survey found that 87% of employers said their clinics were successful, and those able to measure results said they achieved a return on investment rate of 1.5 or better.
