U.S. airlines compete for expanded service to Brazil

U.S. airlines are competing for expanded airline service to Sao Paulo, Brazil. An agreement with Brazil will allow 14 additional weekly flights this year, but U.S. carriers have applied for 28 additional flights. American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and US Airways have applied to the Department of Transportation to expand service.
