Eastman Chemical has achieved significant reductions in energy consumption through energy-management initiatives, including its "reorganize and revitalize" campaign that contributes to its 10-year plan to achieve a 25% reduction in energy use compared with 2008 levels. "We've come a long way, but there's more to be accomplished. It is a never-ending effort. We can do better with what we already have, and as we introduce new processes, we can improve for the future as well," said Sharon Nolen, corporate energy program manager for Eastman.
