Outback owners ponder plan to go public again

Tampa-based OSI Restaurant Partners said it is considering filing a prospectus, the first step toward selling shares to the public. The company, which owns concepts including Outback Steakhouse and Carrabba's Italian Grill, hasn't sold shares to the public since 2007, when Bain Capital and Catterton Partners paid $3.2 billion and took the company private.
