Survey: Health care costs soar but plans cover less

Employees are picking up a larger portion of the tab when it comes to health insurance costs, a survey by Towers Watson says. The average price employees pay has risen 9.3% this year to $2,764; 40% higher than in 2007. In addition to the higher costs for employees and their employers, most health insurance companies are covering less as they try to anticipate changes coming from President Obama's health care reform.
