Babies display social bias as early as 9 months

Researchers conducted a series of experiments with puppets and food in 9- to 14-month-olds and found that most babies reached out to puppets that liked the same foods the babies did, even if that puppet had treated another puppet badly. The study in the journal Psychological Science suggests that social bias is innate and possibly genetic.
