Senators seek to restore military tuition assistance

Two U.S. senators have introduced a measure that would restore tuition assistance to military members. "Though I understand that the Department of Defense has tough budget decisions to make, I believe that it is shortsighted to completely suspend this program," Sen. Kay Hagan, D-N.C., said in a letter to Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel.
