Costco looks to grow in Asia-Pacific region

Costco, which has one store in Melbourne and another pending approval in Sydney, said it could open two outlets a year in Australia. The U.S.-based retail giant has focused on the Asia-Pacific region for growth. "We are ramping up some of our international [operations] a little bit. Our success in Asia is an example, and Australia," said Richard Galanti, chief financial officer at Costco.
