Mo. nurses say bills address access to care

Supporters of bills in the Missouri Legislature that would allow advanced practice nurses to work without physician supervision say current laws do not meet the needs of patients, especially in rural areas. "There are shortages of providers, but definitely not a shortage of patients," said MONA CEO Jill Kliethermes. "We really feel like this is about access to care."
