U.S. chains shake up the menu to please global palates

McDonald's, Pizza Hut, KFC and other U.S. quickservice chains have been introducing menu items in their international markets that aren't available to fans of their food at home. Dishes aimed at pleasing local palates often include new mixes of sweet and savory, from curry beef doughnuts at Dunkin' Donuts in China to chocolate quesadillas at India's Taco Bell restaurants.
