787s could return to service in weeks, Boeing says

Boeing said it could install a fix for 787 batteries and have the aircraft return to flying soon. "It is reasonable to expect that we could be back up and going in weeks, not in months," said Mike Sinnett, vice president and chief project engineer of the 787 program.
