Small businesses partner with schools to find skilled workers

By the end of the decade there could be about 875,000 job openings for skilled workers at manufacturing firms. Small businesses are partnering with schools and community colleges to find skilled workers. "It's not easy finding people who are going to fit," said Tracy Tenpenny, a vice president at Tailored Label Products. "We needed someone who was able to handle a computer and utilize a digital die cutter."
