Smaller manufacturers to feel brunt of U.S. budget sequester

Smaller manufacturing companies that depend heavily on defense contracts are expected to be most affected as U.S. budget sequester cuts take effect. And the cuts will come after the year started with a sharp month-to-month drop in manufacturing technology orders, albeit after an unusually strong December.
