Suicide bomber in Yemen was trained as al-Qaida in Somalia

Crystallizing Western fears about the failed state, a suicide bomber who killed four South Korean tourists traveling in Yemen was revealed to be an al-Qaeda-affiliated militant trained in Somalia. Yemen is experiencing a trifecta of destabilizing factors: An insurgency in the north, the influx of tens of thousands of Somali refugees each year and dwindling oil and water reserves.
