California school installs white roof to save energy

The roof on Las Juntas Elementary School in Pacheco, Calif., may look like it is covered with white paint, but it is really an "engineered coating" that reflects the sun's rays and cools the building. The $300,000 roof project also included weatherization and an indoor air filtration system.
