Del. partners with USDA to provide summer meals for students

State agencies in Delaware will help provide summer meals for 5,000 students who qualify for free and reduced-priced meals. The program, operated with help from the USDA, will provide families with up to $60 a month on an electronic meal card to use at participating stores. More than 60,000 students statewide qualify for subsidized school meals, and students will be selected via lottery for the summer program.
