API: Positive reviews strengthen case for approval of Keystone XL

The American Petroleum Institute made its case for the approval of TransCanada's Keystone XL pipeline, citing several reviews that determined the project will be environmentally sound. "After four comprehensive federal reviews and a Nebraska review, the science continues to say that Keystone XL will have no significant impact on the environment," said Marty Durbin, executive vice president of government affairs at API. "It's time to put the pipe in the ground."
