Beechcraft protest is halted by Pentagon

A politically-charged protest made by Beechcraft Corp. over a $427.5 million Air Force contract to build light air support planes that was now twice awarded to Sierra Nevada Corp. and its subcontractor, Embraer, has been halted by the Pentagon. In a news release, Beechcraft said the company is looking at its options.
