Health care law might hike cost at companies with low-wage workers

Companies with many low-wage workers will take a financial hit next year when the individual mandate, as well as other provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Health Care Act, go into effect. Grocery, retail, food and beverage, hospitality, logistics and industrial services are among industries that will see a marked increase in health care costs as more workers become eligible for benefits.
