How a teacher in Spain teaches English through playwriting

Jeremy Dean, a teacher from the United Kingdom who works at an English-immersion school in Spain, said he uses games and creative teaching methods to reach his students and overcome the language barrier. In this blog post, Dean writes about one lesson in which he provides the skeleton for a play and then instructs students to write their own scenes. Students then are asked to act out the plays and the printed copies of the text are distributed throughout the school -- culminating the lesson in which students practise written and oral English skills.
