Self-evaluation problems among nonprofits

Nonprofits can find it difficult to measure the work they do, according to a survey by the Institute for Nonprofits at North Carolina State University. The biggest reason is a lack of capacity, because staff is limited or funds are scarce. Respondents say they are concerned about a lack of evaluation expertise, especially when required to present outcome evaluations.
