TEPCO reports power outage at Fukushima Daiichi plant

Four of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant's fuel storage pools were without fresh cooling water for nearly 20 hours after the facility suffered a blackout Monday, according to Tokyo Electric Power. Temperatures at the pools remained within safe levels, TEPCO said, and the reactors were unaffected. Workers are still seeking to determine the cause of the outage, officials added.
