FDA Won't Require Testing For Children's Drugs

Congress has approved financial incentives for drug manufacturers to conduct safety testing on adult medications commonly given to kids. The FDA says its testing is no longer necessary under the new mandate. Some Democrats say the FDA's action stops "an important regulation that protects children from potentially unsafe and improperly dosed medications."
