15 experts to advise HHS on comparative-research spending

The HHS selected 15 experts to serve on a panel tasked with advising the agency on how to spend $1.1 billion in funding allocated for comparative-effectiveness research from the economic-stimulus package. Members of the Federal Coordinating Council for Comparative Effectiveness Research include Dr. Carolyn Clancy, director of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, and Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, adviser on health care with the Office of Management and Budget.
