Idaho lawmakers vote to block scanners

The Idaho House of Representatives has passed a measure restricting the use of full-body scanners in the state's airports. "It's my opinion that the use of these devices to screen every individual ... would be an unreasonable search of those persons," said the bill's sponsor. Despite some Democratic opposition, the measure passed 58-9 and will now be taken up by the state Senate.
