Auction results in $2.5 billion payout to holders of Greek CDS

Investors holding credit default swaps on Greece's debt will receive about $2.5 billion, as determined by an auction. Dealer banks set the value of Greek bonds at 21.5% of par. ISDA CEO Robert Pickel noted that "smooth functioning" of the auction "shows that the process works."
