DISH isn't expected to face LightSquared's GPS obstacles

DISH, which wants to provide the same type of service as LightSquared, is not expected to encounter the spectral interference issues with GPS signals that doomed the latter's Federal Communications Commission application, analysts and industry executives say. LightSquared asserted in an FCC filing Friday that federal regulators have no legal right to block its plans to create a satellite-based terrestrial wireless network.
