Intel's Berryville promises better set-top box performance

Intel's new Berryville media processor promises video game console performance in a set-top box. The Intel Atom CE5300 boasts a dual core and advanced 3D/2D graphics abilities. "We've more than doubled the [central processing unit] performance with the CE5300. Today's set-top boxes are probably the most underperforming devices in the home," Intel's Keith Wehmeyer said.
