Panasonic rice cookers get smart

The Japanese market is about to get a rice cooker from Panasonic that can be controlled by a smartphone. Users simply pair their FeliCa-enabled phones to the updated appliances, the Panasonic SR-SX102 series, to turn the phone into a remote control via an app that also stores recipes.
