Mass. heart device company lands $10.7M investment

Tewksbury, Mass.-based DC Devices has received $10.7 million from investors. Proceeds will help fund the development and clinical studies of the firm's InterAtrial Shunt Device, a transcatheter system designed to relieve elevated left atrial pressure in patients with diastolic heart failure and eliminate the need for open-heart procedures.
