Open-source EMR is helping to improve care worldwide, AHRQ says

An open-source EMR designed by Partners In Health and the Regenstrief Institute in Indiana is helping to improve care delivery in the U.S., Europe, Canada and developing countries, according to an AHRQ report. The technology, called OpenMRS, was based on an AHRQ-funded study that identified the key factors for effective EMR design and rollouts.
