Should Calif. consolidate community colleges?

California's 72 community colleges could save millions of dollars by eliminating some administration positions and consolidating, according to this analysis that suggests schools within 20 miles of each other share administrators. "The question becomes, by proposed consolidation ... will you be able to still meet the business needs and training needs for your students in the same way?" said Timothy Leong, spokesman for the Contra Costa Community College District.
