Residents at the Lady Alexander condo complex in Marathon, Fla., are appealing to politicians to re-examine their insurance fees after they were given notice their rates would increase about 1,300% in 2013. "If I have to pay to cover the insurance increase, plus the fees to maintain the condo, I'd be forced out of the state. People who've gotten loans on their property, they're bound by law to insure their property. Now you've got more of these foreclosures. The ramifications are terrible," resident Sonney Forrest said.
