Study finds health benefits in moderate drinking, socializing

A study that included more than 19,000 Japanese men found that a strong social network may enhance the heart-healthy effects of light to moderate alcohol consumption. Researchers said, however, the results didn't hold true for heavy drinkers, regardless of social support.
