Experts: Reversal of insurance mandate could sink health care law

If the Supreme Court rejects the health care law's requirement that individuals buy insurance, it likely will topple the law, some experts say. Alternatives to the mandate "would require some sort of congressional action," said Larry Levitt of the Kaiser Family Foundation. "Congress could end up stalemating, and you could find yourself in a situation where there's no consensus about how to move forward," Levitt says.
