Funding round pulls in $1.5 million for Innovative Biosensors

Innovative Biosensors has obtained $1.5 million of a targeted $2.7 million financing round. The Rockville, Md.-based company, which uses biosensors to create assays for rapid detection of cardiac and infectious diseases, is conducting clinical studies of the BioFlash-Dx system for use in spotting methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus.
