Publishers assign high priority to Web, mobile for 2012

With the widespread adoption of tablet devices in mind, a majority of business-to-business and business-to-consumer publishers say they are assigning high priority to mobile and Web publishing in 2012, according to a survey by the Software & Information Industry Association. In particular, B2C publishers are focusing on tablets as a platform. Meanwhile, 42% of those surveyed said they would also concentrate on licensing and syndication.
