Sportsman Channel joins Nielsen in pursuit of bigger ad base

Sportsman Channel, with the introduction of Nielsen ratings next week, aims to appeal to the same marketers who are targeting rival Outdoor Channel and History Channel's male viewers ages 25 to 54, sales chief Mary Jeanne Cavanagh says. "Advertisers want to be able to show they're reaching X, Y and Z. They're held accountable by their clients," she said.
